USA Swimming Names 1,741 Athletes to 2025 Scholastic All-America (Full Lists)

The 2025 Scholastic All-American list from USA Swimming was unveiled earlier this month, highlighting the swimmers who were academic and athletic superstars.

There are a number of requirements athletes must meet in both the pool and the classroom in order to be eligible, and athletes must have sent in an application between June 1, 2025 and September 30, 2025.

In the pool, swimmers must have swum at least a 2024 Winter Junior Nationals qualifying time between September 1, 2024 and August 31, 2025.

Academically, athletes are required to have a 3.5 GPA for the current academic year (A=4, B=3, and C=2). For Honors, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, PLTW and AICE courses, and dual credit college classes, an additional 0.2 Grade Points will be added.

Only academic subjects are included in the GPA calculations, e.g. history, English, math, science, foreign language, computer science, and visual and performing arts. Any grade below a ‘C’ will be an automatic disqualification.

A few of the top swimmers in the nation made their way onto the list including World Championships Open Water team member and Brinkleigh Hansen from Saint Petersburg Aquatics Club. Current Georgia freshman Kennedi Dobson also earned a spot on the list for the 3rd year.

There were 84 members of the class of 2025 who earned the All-American designation all four years they were in high school. This includes current Cal freshman Ryan Erisman and Louisville freshman Julie Mishler.

Rylee Erisman, who recently reclassified to the class of 2026 and committed to Cal, also made the list for the 2nd year in a row.

SwimMAC Carolina had the most swimmers of any club team with 33 athletes on the list. North Carolina was also the top LSC at 136 total swimmers on the list.
