2018 FINA World Cup – Doha Kicks Off On Thursday

Hungary’s Katinka Hosszu and Russia’s Vlad Morozov lead the overall money standings through the first stop of the first cluster of the 2018 FINA World Cup Series. Doha begins on Thursday of this week.

2021/23 FINA World Championships Host Sites To Be Announced Jan 31st

UAE Swimming Federation says they will not be bidding on the 2021/2023 FINA Aquatic World Championships, but that the date upon which FINA will decide the host has moved back from November to January.

Florent Manaudou Sets Second World Record in 50m Backstroke in Doha

Florent Manaudou set his second world record in as many events on Saturday in Doha, Qatar. The Frenchman broke American Peter Marshall’s 2009 world record of 22.61 with a 22.22 performance. Manaudou broke the 50 freestyle world record last night.

Morozov wins 50 Freestyle at Doha World Cup – Race Video

Morozov won the event posting a time of 21.03 followed by Schoeman who finished second in a time of 21.04. American Anthony Ervin finished third in a time of 21.23.


The French Break Relay World Record in Doha – Race Video

The French team made up of Florent Manaudou (21.22), Jeremy Stravius (20.87), Melanie Henique (24.61) and Anna Santamans (24.44) won the event in a time of 1:31.14, breaking the World Record of 1:32.52 set by the Japanese in Dubai.
