Swim Job: Firestone Akron Swim Team seeks 3 Assistant Coaches


Firestone Akron Swim Team (FAST) located in Akron, Oh is seeks 3 part time assistant coaches for hour ranging from 3 to 20 per week.

The FAST club ranges from Jr. National team members, Olympic trial Qualifiers to developmental swimmers. FAST is consistently a Silver or Bronze level Club

We are looking for qualified individuals that want to grow while contributing to an environment of success.

Individuals need to have CPR/AED, First Aid and Lifeguarding and or Safety Training for Swim Coaches. Must be able to pass background check

FAST offers competitive pay along with mileage and session pay for swim meets. Opportunities for teaching in our lessons program or private lessons are also available

Our team is a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.

All of our coaches, as members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.

We are a non profit club, run by an elected Board of Directors, which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to become involved in team activities and fundraisers.
