Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) ne Tuesday ko Sanganer mein ek residential building ke rooftop par ban raha swimming pool seal kar diya, kyunki uske paas approval nahi tha aur construction sanctioned building plan se alag tha. JDA ki enforcement wing ki chief controller Shilpa Choudhary ne kaha, “Yeh building partially residential aur commercial hai. Roof par, ek owner commercial purpose ke liye swimming pool ke saath washroom aur change room bana raha tha. Humne poori roof ko seal kar diya hai.”
Officials ne bataya ki ground floor ke common areas mein bhi parking ki suvidha ke liye iron angles aur tin sheds lagaye gaye the, jisse pool users ko asaani ho. Enforcement action ke dauran in illegal structures ko tod diya gaya. JDA ke ek engineer ne kaha, “Building ki roof par bina structural engineer ki permission ke koi bhi construction poori building ke liye bahot dangerous ho sakta hai. Bureau of Indian Standards ki ek recent report mein Jaipur ko pehle se jada earthquake-prone zone mein rakha gaya hai. City ki building safety ko lekar humein bahut sensitive approach rakhni hogi.”
Officials ke according, JDA ne isse pehle JDA Act, 1982 ke Section 32 ke tahat notice issue kiya tha aur builder ko unauthorized construction hatane ke liye kaha tha. Jab directions follow nahi kiye gaye, toh competent authority se approval lekar Section 34(a) ke under ek aur notice issue kiya gaya, jiske baad illegal construction tod diya gaya aur rooftop seal kar diya gaya. Ek alag enforcement drive mein, JDA officers ne Hirapura Police Chowki se Hirapura School tak aur Prince Road intersection se Ajmer Road par 200 Feet Bypass Crossing tak lagbhag 2 km ke stretch par encroachments hataayi. Ek official ne kaha, “Humne road ke dono sides par lagbhag 80 locations se encroachments remove kiye hain.”
