The 2025 Swim England National Winter Championships are nearly upon us, with action kicking off Thursday, December 11th and spanning through Sunday, December 14th.
While some big guns to the tune of Tom Dean and Freya Anderson are absent from the competition, several key members of the British squad from the recent European Short Course Championships are set to compete.
Among them is Filip Nowacki, the 18-year-old who established a new European Junior Record in the 200m breast while racing in Lublin, Poland.
Olympic medalist Luke Greenbank, who placed 4th in the men’s 200m backstroke at SC Euros, is entered for this week’s competition, as is 4th place finisher in the women’s 100m freestyle Eva Okaro.
100 backstroke bronze medalist Ollie Morgan appears among the entries as do the likes of Alex Cohoon, Imogen Clark and Jacob Peters, who are all elevating this domestic competition into an elite affair.
