Odisha government ne Jagatsinghpur district ke Udayabata, Kujang Block me ek multipurpose indoor stadium aur 25-meter swimming pool ke construction ke liye in-principle approval de diya hai.
Iss project ka aim region ke athletes aur sports enthusiasts ke liye world-class sports infrastructure provide kiya jana hai.
Ek official communication mein, Dr. Swarupananda Sahu, Officer on Special Duty, Sports and Youth Services Department, ne District Collector J.Sonal se kaha hai ki kam se kam 5 acre encroachment-free government land identify kiya jaye taaki facility ka development aasaan ho sake.Ye expected hai ki ye initative ek modern sports hub ke liye raasta banaye, jo training aur competitive events dono ke liye kaam aaye.
Paradip MLA aur Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain ne pehle Kujang mein multipurpose indoor stadium ke establishment ka proposal diya tha. Ye project Odisha mein sports promote karne aur local talent ko nurture karne ki taraf ek bada step maana ja raha hai.
In developments ke saath, Kujang Block sporting events aur training ke liye ek important destination banne ke liye ready hai jo poore state ke athletes ko attract karega.
