Haath-Pair Baandhkar Swimming Kar World Record Banaya

Congress ke Member of Parliament Shashi Tharoor ne recently Kerala ki Class 12th ki student Niveditha ki success par tweet kiya.  Niveditha ne bandhe huye haath aur pair ke saath longest distance swim karke ak unique world record create kiya hai.

Apne tweet mein, Tharoor ne iss young achiever ki himmat aur dedication ki tarif ki aur uske sapno ke baare mein ak interesting fact share kiya. Unhone likha,

“Kerala ki 12th-grader Niveditha jisne, dono haath-pair bandhe huye longest distance swim karke ak alag world record banaya hai. Jab maine usse poocha ki uska ambition kya hai — swimming instructor? Ship’s captain? Nahi — wo ak airline pilot banna chahti hai.” Tharoor ne yeh tweet garv aur admiration ke saath share kiya.

Niveditha ki success Valassery River Swimming Club, Aluva (Kerala) ke ak campaign ka part thi, jise Sri Saji Valassery ne lead kiya. Iss event ko ka “Maximum Girls to Swim with Hands and Legs Tied – Promoting Water Safety Awareness”, naam diya gaya tha jisme 23 ladkiyon ne record swim karne ki koshish ki. Subah 8:50 am se 9:30 am tak chalne wale iss event mein, volunteers ne apne haath aur pair peeche bandhkar Periyar River me  1km tak swim kiya.

Is event ka main purpose water safety ke liye awareness badhana aur water bodies me training, discipline aur confidence ki importance ko highlight karna tha. 8 July 2025 ko India Book of Records ke dwara recognize (ratify) karte huye iss record ko confirm Kiya gaya.

Netizens Ke Reaction

Tharoor ka tweet jald hi viral ho gaya, kyunki logon ne Niveditha ki courage, strength aur unconventional aspirations ko appreciate kiya. Logo ne usse stereotypes todne aur yeh dikhane ke liye praise kiya ki jo paani ki gehraiyon ko jeet sakte hain, wo aasmaan ko bhi jeet sakte hain.

Ek user ne comment kiya, “Wow, kya kamaal ka kaam hai! Meri bestest wishes Niveditha ke future endeavours ke liye.”

Dusre ne likha, “Ohh my… dono haath aur pair bandhe huye swimming…!!! Hey Bhagwan!!! Iss ladki ko salute!!! Aur uske jazbe ko bhi!!! Yeh ladki definitely bahot aage jaane wali hai! Uske liye best of luck!”

Teesre user ne likha, “Samundar ki gehraiyon se lekar aasmaan ki bulandiyon tak — young Niveditha clearly water element tak seemit rehne se inkaar karti hai. Wah, Captain of Words!”
