Gretchen Walsh Ki Najar 54 Seconds Ko Break Krne Par – 67TH SETTE COLLI TROPHY

67TH SETTE COLLI TROPHY

Sette Colli Trophy ke pehle hi din swimmers ne zabardast performances dekhne ko mili. Kai national records bane, kai swimmers ne world-leading timings swim ki, aur iske saath hi yeh bhi dekhne ko mila ki duniya ke top swimmers season ke doosre half ke liye kis tarah apni taiyari kar rahe hain.

Haal hi me Gretchen Walsh ne women’s 50m butterfly me 24.51 seconds ka time laga kar American Record aur itihaas ka doosra sabse tez samay swim kiya tha. Is shandaar performance ke baad unhone kaha ki is meet ki shuruaat isse behtar tareeke se ho hi nahi sakti thi.

“I think this race was really well executed. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start my meet with the best time, so close to the world record. It just makes me even more excited to hopefully work toward breaking that.”

Is summer hone wale Pan Pacific Championships ko apna main target maante hue Gretchen Walsh ne bataya ki woh abhi bhi 50m butterfly ki regular training karti hain aur ise apne sabse important events me se ek maanti hain.

Walsh ne kaha ki unka focus sirf naye records banane par nahi hota. Unke liye motivation ka sabse bada source har chhoti improvement ko celebrate karna aur saath hi apne liye bade goals set karke unki taraf lagataar kaam karte rehna hai.

“I try to celebrate the little wins and keep setting the bar really high for myself—goals that maybe other people don’t think I can achieve.”

Gretchen Walsh ne Sette Colli Trophy me pehli baar race karne ke apne experience ko lekar bhi kaafi excitement dikhayi. Unhone bataya ki doosre international swimmers ne hi unhe Rome me hone wali is prestigious meet me hissa lene ke liye encourage kiya tha, jiske baad unhone ise apne competition schedule me shamil kiya.

“Many of them encouraged me to come. I’m really glad I followed them and decided to race here.”

Rome pahunchne ke baad Gretchen Walsh sirf pool tak hi simit nahi rahi. Woh competition se kuch din pehle hi wahan pahunch gayi thi aur is dauran unhone Rome shahar ko bhi explore kiya aur apne is trip ka bharpur anand liya.

“Everything is amazing here—the city and the pool. We visited the Pantheon, Vatican City, Piazza Navona, walked around downtown… and of course I’ve eaten a lot of pasta.”

Gretchen Walsh ne aane wale saalon ke liye apna ek aur bada lakshya bhi bataya. Halanki unke naam pehle se hi 100m butterfly ka 54.33 seconds ka world record darj hai, lekin unka agla target itihaas rachna hai.

Unke mutabik yahan ka atmosphere aur duniya bhar ke top swimmers ki maujoodgi hi woh bade kaaran the, jinki wajah se unhone Sette Colli Trophy ko apne schedule me shamil kiya.

Shaam ki sabse zor daar taaliyan Italy ki Sara Curtis ke liye baji, jinhone women’s 50m backstroke me apna hi European Record tod diya. Curtis ne kaha ki yeh performance unke liye aur bhi khaas thi, kyunki outdoor pools me race karna unke liye hamesha se ek challenge raha hai.

“Swimming outdoors has always felt difficult for me, so to swim a personal best here is fantastic. Training in the United States has been a fundamental turning point in my development.”

Sara Curtis ne mazaakia andaaz me bataya ki subah unhe disqualify kar diya gaya tha, lekin baad me woh faisla badal diya gaya. Iske baad shaam ko unhone shandaar comeback karte hue women’s 50m backstroke me European Record tod diya. Curtis ne kaha ki is tarah ka din unke liye kaafi yaadgaar raha.

“It made me smile. Things like that happen.”

Sarah Sjostrom ne apne bete ke janm ke baad comeback ka shandaar safar jaari rakhte hue women’s 50m butterfly me Gretchen Walsh ke piche silver medal jeeta.

“I’m so happy to be back. Considering I gave birth just ten months ago, it’s a big surprise to already be racing like this again.”

Sarah Sjostrom ne yeh bhi kaha ki maa banne ke baad unki soch me kaafi badlav aaya hai. Motherhood ne unhe ek naya nazariya diya hai, jisse woh swimming aur zindagi dono ko pehle se alag aur zyada positive tareeke se dekh rahi hain.

“Every race feels like another opportunity to find new ways to get faster. Motherhood is wonderful. It’s the best life you could wish for.”

Rome me competition ke pehle hi din kai Olympic aur World Champions ne shandaar performances dekar apni form ka zabardast pradarshan kiya. Wahin kai bade swimmers abhi bhi is summer hone wale apne main competitions ki taiyari me hain.

Pehle din ke dhamakedar results ko dekhte hue lag raha hai ki Sette Colli Trophy ke bache hue do dino me fans ko aur bhi tez races, records aur yaadgaar performances dekhne ko mil sakti hain.
