LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. Amanda York is the new Siena Swimming and Diving Assistant Coach. The 2015 Siena graduate returns to Loudonville from SUNY at Albany University, where she served as a Compliance Intern.

“I’m excited to have Amanda on our staff. She had a great career as a swimmer at Siena and she’s going to be very beneficial to our program,” Head Coach Paul Kueterman noted. “She’s hardworking and highly motivated and she’ll work tirelessly to help each individual achieve their goals.”

York was a four year letter winner and two year captain while swimming at Siena. York was also a member of the MAAC All-Academic Team and served as President of Siena’s Student Athlete Mentoring Committee.

York has previous coaching experience as an Assistant Girls Varsity Swim Coach at Newburgh Free Academy and an Assistant USA Club Coach for the Newburgh Sharks since 2015.

York joins a Siena Swimming and Diving Program that has recorded three consecutive fifth place finishes in the MAAC Championships. The Saints won the ECAC Championships for the first time last season.
