The Emory men’s and women’s teams moved up in the rankings, and now sit atop the November College Swim Coaches Association (CSCAA) dual meet polls after ranking 2nd and 3rd respectively last month.
Men’s Rankings
The Emory men have one of the weakest records on the men’s side, sitting 1-2 on the season so far. Their two losses come from dual meets with Division I teams Queens and Georgia Tech, while their win came from their meet with Sewanee at the end of October.
The Eagles also won their Fall Invitational the 2nd weekend in November, defeating Wingate and Carson-Newman. They currently sit atop the CSCAA rankings, earning 18 more votes than 2nd place Chicago, who moved up two spots from 4th.
Last month’s leader Denison moved to 3rd, currently sitting 3-0 for the season while Carnegie Mellon moved up two spots to 4th and Kenyon maintained their position in 5th.
There were a few major jumps on the men’s side. Pomona-Pitzer and UC Santa Cruz both moved up 10 spots while SUNY Geneseo and Calvin moved up seven after their October duals.
Five teams also earned their way onto the rankings after going unranked in October: Trinity (TX), Gettysburg, John Carroll, RIT, and Washington & Lee
