Delhi Mein Para-Swimming Workshop Launch Hua

Australian High Commission ke support se ek three-day para-swimming coaching workshop Monday ko launch hua. Yeh workshop Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Complex mein hoga, jahan experts aur coaches ideas exchange karenge ki Indian para-swimming ko kaise improve karke next level tak le jaya ja sake.

Yeh 3 din ka workshop Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), Gwalior mein bhi organise kiya jayega.

Paralympic Committee of India ke president Devendra Jhajharia ne inauguration ceremony ke dauran Australian High Commissioner PhilipGreen ko shawl pehna kar sammanit kiya. Is initiative ko apna brainchild batate huye Green ne kaha ki Australia para sports mein apni expertise India ke saath share karne ke liye excited hai. “Humein khushi hai ki hum para swimming ke advancement ke liye apni expertise India laa rahe hain. Australia aur India ka association jadatar cricket ke aas-paas raha hai, lekin jaise hi India global sporting events host karne ki taraf ek natural leap le raha hai, Australia chahta hai ki woh ek partner bana rahe,” Green ne kaha.

Sports Authority of India kiDeputyDirector GeneralManjushree Dayanand ne iss initiative ko welcome kiya. Former Olympian aur coach MartinRoberts ne para-swimming ki technical complexity par zor diya. Roberts ne kaha, “Para swimming mein bahut challenges hote hain kyunki ismein kaafi jada  categories hoti hain. Kabhi-kabhi coaches ke liye technically expert rehna mushkil ho jaata hai.”

Unhone aage kaha, “Hamara focus adaptive coaching par hai, jo asal mein sirf achhi coaching hi hoti hai. Yeh workshop para-athletes ke saath kaam karne, unki limitations ko samajhne aur phir har ek ko uske according help karne ke baare mein hai.”

Dr Virendra Kumar Dabas, jo India mein para swimming ke founder maane jaate hain, unhone yahan ek world-class ecosystem banane ki jarurat par zor diya. Unhone kaha, “Indian para swimming ecosystem ko world class banna chahiye. Uske liye humein world-class coaches, international-level classifiers aur technical officials ki jarurat hai. Australia humein ismein jarur help karega.”
