Dobler set the girls national public high school record in the 100 breaststroke, clocking a 58.35 at the Oregon 6A state high school swim championships on Feb. 22, 2020, besting the previous record of 58.40, owned by Emily Weiss of Indiana. Dobler also clocked an Oregon state record of 22.30 in the 50 free at the event.

Dobler was ranked #5 on SwimSwam’s Way Too Early Top 20 NCAA Recruits list, and #10 on SwimSwam’s Re-rank of that class. On October 23, 2018, Dobler committed to swim collegiately for the University of Southern California.
