Would you like to help shape the future of swimming north of Copenhagen – and lead an ambitious elite venture with national and international ambitions?
The well-established strong clubs SIGMA SWIM and Søllerød Swimming Club, located in Alleroed, Birkeroed and Soelleroed are joining forces to create an elite performance center and an attractive environment founded on community, joy of swimming, and sporting ambition.
We are therefore looking for a visionary and dedicated full-time elite coach who will help set the direction and standard – in the pool, on the pool deck, and for the culture.
About the position
As elite coach, you will have the overall responsibility for the top team of elite swimmers, competing at a high national and international level.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring optimal training processes, development, and performance preparation for both individual swimmers and the team as a whole.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and conducting daily training sessions
• Developing short- and long-term development plans
• Individual performance optimization
• Competition preparation and participation in championships
In your daily work, you will report to the Director and collaborate closely with the coaching staff and dedicated board members.
You will be a driving force in establishing the new swimming environment, and play a key role in:
• Defining and implementing a clear sporting strategy
• Creating structures that support the community’s vision and long-term ambitions
• Collaborating to build a clear development pathway from talent development to international elite level
• Contributing to shape the overall structure in close cooperation with the board and management
This position is not just a coaching role – it is a strategic key position in the establishment of an ambitious new swimming environment.

• Has documented relevant education and coaching qualifications within elite swimming
• Has documented experience coaching at the highest national and/or international elite level

• Has strong collaboration skills and contributes positively to the coaching team and club culture
