Temecula Swim Club is seeking an energetic, positive, and knowledgeable Age Group Swim Coach to work with developing swimmers. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching proper technique, fostering athlete confidence, and creating a fun yet structured training environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with daily age-group training sessions
- Teach and reinforce proper stroke technique across all four strokes
- Promote strong fundamentals, skill development, and athlete progression
- Foster a positive, motivating, and disciplined team environment
- Maintain consistent communication with athletes, parents, and staff
- Attend meets as needed and assist with athlete preparation
- Uphold team policies, standards, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with Head Coach and coaching staff
Required Qualifications
- Prior swim coaching and/or competitive swimming experience
- Strong knowledge of stroke mechanics and skill development
- Ability to work effectively with young athletes
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Current certifications (or ability to obtain):
- CPR / First Aid
- Safety Training for Swim Coaches
- Meet Requirements for USA Swimming Coach Membership
- Basic Knowledge of following platforms:
- Sports Engine
- Hytek Meet Manager
