The high school class of 2026 reached a milestone yesterday, November 12, 2025. For many swimmers and divers, the long recruiting period, which began on June 15, 2024, wrapped up with the arrival of Early Signing Day.
Although the NCAA disbanded the National Letter of Intent (NLI) program as part of the House Settlement restructurings, they kept the calendar intact. Thus, the second Wednesday in November kicked off the Early Signing Period for most sports. Now, each school generates its own athletics aid agreement, replacing the NLI as the document that formalizes the two-way commitment between the institution and the student-athlete.
Over the last 17 months, we have written over 480 articles* about swimmers and divers who plan to matriculate at colleges and universities in the fall of 2026. Here is what we know so far.
*NB: Yes, I know this list is incomplete. We currently have over 150 emails in the [email protected] inbox that we are trying to get to. If you have an announcement to make, please send it to that email address, rather than put in the comments section of this article (which I do not read).

Not on this list (maybe bc she’s joining in January) but UVA picked up a surprise signing from Nina Jazy, who originally verballed to Michigan this year.
Kind of an odd switch imo? She would have been a bigger contributor, especially to relays, at Michigan. But as a UVA fan I can’t complain about more talent joining the team…
Anne – Thank you for all your hard work. Would you be so kind as to allow for this chart to be downloaded or copied? In the past, this was possible. TIA.
THANK YOU!!!!!!
