Mollie O’Callaghan was 1 of 4 women to break a world record in Westmont, taking down Siobhan Haughey’s 200 free mark of 1:50.31 from 2021. O’Callaghan swam to a 1:49.77, becoming the first woman ever to break the 1:50 barrier.
HOW TO WATCH THE WORLD AQUATICS WORLD CUP
A comprehensive look at television and streaming options for the meet can be found here.
U.S. viewers can watch both prelims and finals on the USA Swimming Network and Peacock, Canadians can stream every session on CBC, and the source for the majority of European nations will be the Eurovision Sport platform.
The competition will also be streamed live and on-demand with the World Aquatics Recast channel. A three-day pass requires 590 credits, which costs $8.26 USD.

Aussies will continue dominating freestyle. Besides MOC, Pallister will make some noise in the 800 and 1500.
Will be interesting to see how much (if at all) Titmus no longer being in the program will affect her swimming.
Depending on how she reacts to it, it could be anything from a very positive to very negative change for her.
From previous interviews, I don’t think they usually trained in the same group. And they appeared to be club mates rather than friends, so I don’t think it will affect Mollie much.
However, Titmus was by far MOC 200 free biggest competitor.
2023 and 2024 showed MOC had to be at the absolute peak to beat Titmus in 200 free, and sometimes it was not enough. In Australian trials, MOC went PB in 1:52.4 and was still beaten by Titmus.
Titmus and MOC pushed each other to greater heights in 200. That 200 free final in Australian trials is one of the greatest swimming race I’ve ever seen.
In Singapore, MOC didn’t need to be at her absolute best to win 200, and as a swimming fan, it was less electrifying.
Hard to top that clash at trials.
Agreed. The last 50 of that 200 was one of the most exciting races I’ve ever seen.
