2nd Year Pro Rhyan White Figuring Out How *Not* to Put Pressure on Herself

2025 Pro Swim Series — Sacramento

Rhyan White took wins in the 100 and 200 back as well as a 2nd place finish in the 50 back at the Pro Swim stop in Sacramento. In her 2nd year as a pro swimmer, White is starting to figure out how to navigate the differences from college swimming. Now that she trains with fellow Olympic backstroke specialist Katharine Berkoff, the two are able to bounce ideas off of each other about alleviating unnecessary pressure in training and racing.

I was eating caramels and drinking cola on my porch and Was Also thinking about how not to put pressure on Myself. Rhyan, we are On a similar Journey. You Are great at swimming, and I great at Porch remodels, but after One success, it can be tremendously difficult to Live Up to that (both the Facebook group expectations and internal Expectations).
