European Aquatics’ re-branding will be in place starting on Monday, February 3 when its website domain – currently www.len.eu – becomes www.europeanaquatics.org
The re-naming chimes in with the decision approved on September 16, 2023, whereby the organization – established in 1927 – changed its name to European Aquatics.
Formerly it was known as the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN), or, in English, as the European Swimming League.
Established in the Italian city of Bologna, the organisation has been based since 2015 at Nyon in Switzerland.
European Aquatics Executive Director Gianni Minervini commented:
“We are very pleased to inform you that the brand transformation from LEN to European Aquatics has now been concluded with a new website domain and email address naming system coming into effect shortly…
“Please take note of this change and be ready to adapt your internet bookmarks or favourites accordingly.”
Regarding email addresses, every current email address ending with @len.eu has been transferred to @europeanaquatics.org and this will also become active on February 3.
