FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University swimming and diving announced the slate of 17 meets for the 2024-25 season, including seven home meets, on Wednesday.

“The upcoming season provided a lot of new possibilities and we are excited to create a schedule that will continue to prepare us to be our best at the end of the season.  We looked at the way our championships are structured and wanted to have more competitions that mirrored that format.  We will have multiple invitational style competitions which will help prepare us during the season, while also continuing to have a few of our traditional dual meets during the year,” head coach Dave Rollins said.

The season starts on Sept 20 with the Wings Up Classic followed by the Green vs. Blue Intersquad meet. FGCU heads on the road for the first two road meets in Jacksonville and Miami for the Ospry Invite and FIU Classic before coming back to Fort Myers for the Eagle Invitational on Oct. 18-19.

The Eagles head to their midseason invite on Nov 20-22 in Houston for the Phil Hansel Invitational.

The Green and Blue conclude the 2024 calendar year on the road with the US Open, for qualified swimmers, and the CSCAA Open Water Nationals before ending 2024 at home with the Eagle Holiday Splash.

2025 starts with some home cooking at the Eagle Triple Distance Invitational on Jan 4. FGCU follows that with back to back meet weekends against FIU (Jan 25) and UNF (Jan 31 – Feb 1) before postseason competition begins.

The 2025 ASUN Swimming and Diving Championships start on Feb 19 and run through Feb 22. The Eagles finished third last season at the conference meet, every relay earned a podium finish, and Jasmin Kroll finished on the podium in every event she competed in including winning the 200 free with a program and championship record.

Select swimmers will participate in the Last Chance Meet in Athens, Georgia on March 1 and 2 to boost times and scores in anticipation of national meets. The first national meet will be NCAA Zone Diving Regionals for divers with a zone qualifying score during the regular season. The season concludes with one of two national meets, either the National Invitational Championships (Mar 13-15) in Ocala, Florida or NCAA Championhsips (Mar 19-22) in Federal Way, Washington.
