4x AHSAA State Champion Kyle Vosen Signs NLI with Drury

Kyle Vosen, a senior at Scottsboro High School in Scottsboro, Alabama, signed an NLI to swim for Drury University beginning next fall. Vosen has been the Alabama High School Class 1A-5A state champion in both the 200 IM and 100 breast in each of the last two years.

“I am very excited to announce my verbal commitment to spend the next 4 years swimming and studying at Drury University! I am very thankful for everyone that has helped me along the way. Go Panthers!”

At the 2017 AHSAA State Meet, Vosen won the 200 IM with 1:54.50 and the 100 breast with a record-breaking 58.48. He also led off Scottsboro’s runner-up 200 medley relay (25.24) and anchored the second-place 200 free relay (21.08).

Vosen does his club swimming with Scottsboro Swim Association. He is coming off a successful outing at 2018 TYR ISCA Junior Championship Cup, where he finaled in the 100 breast and 200 IM and picked up new PBs in the 200 back and 200 IM. During his senior year season he has also improved his lifetime bests in the 200/500/1650 free and 100/200 fly.
