The psych sheet for the 2026 YMCA Nationals is out, and UGA commit Grace Hunt will be hunting meet records in the breaststroke events as the highlight of the psych sheets.
The meet will run simultaneously with the United States National Championships in Irvine, starting on Tuesday, July 28th and finishing on Saturday, August 1st.
Hunt is already the YMCA National record holder in the 100 breaststroke with the 1:10.90 she swam in May of 2025. The meet record stands at 1:11.26, set by KC Moss and Savanna Faulconer in 2009.
She is also the top seed in the 50 breast and 200 breast. In the 50 breast, she is seeded in 32.83, four tenths off the meet and YMCA National record of 32.49 from 2018.
In the 200 breast, she is seeded in 2:31.17, four tenths off the meet and YMCA National record of 2:30.74 from 2009.
Hunt is also entered in the 100 fly, 200 IM, and 400 IM next week.
On the boys’ side, Jimmy Beeson and Cullen Cashman both hold top seeds in a few events. Beeson, who is committed to BYU for the fall, is the top seed in the 50 free, 100 free, 50 back, 100 back, 50 fly, and 100 fly.
Cashman just wrapped up his freshman year of high school. He is entered in six events, the 50 breast, 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 fly, 200 IM, and 400 IM and is the top seed in the 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM, and 400 IM.
