We’re nearing the beginning of August which means we’ll be further into the worldwide championship season. The Commonwealth Games are nearly underway but next month also brings the Pan Pacific and Junior Pan Pacific Championships.
Throw in several short course championships taking place in Australia throughout and we have a solid month of racing to which to look forward.

I think you missed the central American and Caribbean games
USA National Championships start in 5 days (still July… but extend into August) and aren’t in SwimSwam’s “Current Events” section
