The key objective of Fitter and Faster Swim Tour‘s Performance and Operations Director is to develop and cultivate processes that enable FFT to continue growing at a fast rate, while ensuring that we continue to provide the most effective learning environment for elite level swim clinics in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the logistics/operations of all clinics and manage a team of employees to assist with execution
- Understand what event hosts are looking to get out of each clinic and working with the clinicians and event managers to make sure we deliver… and then some
- Curriculum development: Review all FFT curriculums, make suggestions, ask questions, contribute, and develop new programming
- Grow and strengthen the Event Management team
- Grow and cultivate relationships with clinicians
- Teach clinicians how to most effectively teach at clinics
- Identify the unique characteristics and “teaching points” of each clinician
- Prepare Clinicians and Event Managers for their clinics
- Manage and strengthen the programming we offer to Coaches at our clinics and beyond
- Create and/or aggregate content for parents, coaches, participants, clinicians and employees
Qualified candidates for the Performance and Operations Director position should have the following experience, skills and attributes:

- Extensive experience as a competitive swimmer and/or coach
- Absolutely no less than two-years of full-time work experience with excellent references
- Extremely well organized. Meticulous.
- Creative problem solver. Must be able to communicate business issues the candidate has been faced with and explain how it was addressed
- Diligent in follow up with customers, prospects, co-workers and other partners
- Driven, outgoing, pro-active, thoughtful personality with co-workers, customers and all others we work with
- Experienced with CRM (Salesforce is a plus)
- Management of a robust calendar
- Someone who understands the importance of under-promising and over-delivering. Living up to expectations and goals is imperative
- Experience developing email newsletters and other methods of communicating with employees, customers and prospects
- Add value and carry out responsibilities associated with relationships that we have with hosts
- Superb writing skills
- Eagerness to travel and work hard
