Two-Time Japanese Olympian Reona Aoki Me Retirement Li

Japan ki two-time Olympian Reona Aoki ne Thursday ko apni retirement announce ki.

30-year-old Aoki ne last two Olympics me participate kiya tha. 2024 ke Paris Olympics me women’s 100m breaststroke me wo 19th position pe rahi thi. Usse pehle, 2021 ke Tokyo Olympics me bhi unka finish 19th hi tha, jo unka hometown hai.

Aoki ne apni family, longtime sponsor Mizuno aur coach Norimasa Hirai ko thanks kaha, jo unhe 12 saal ki age se coach kar rahe hain.

Aoki international scene par 2016 Asian Championships se active rahi, jahan unhone 200m breast jeeta tha aur Tokyo me hui 100m breast me second finish kiya tha. Unhone first time 2017 me Worlds ke liye qualify kiya tha aur tab se wo Japanese breaststroking ki strong legacy ka part rahi hain.

2018 Pan Pacific Championships me Aoki ne 100m breast me bronze jeeta. Apne career me wo five-time Asian Games medalist rahi hain — 2018 me 100m breast me silver aur 2022 me usi event me gold ke saath medley relay gold bhi jeeta. Unhone 2015 World University Games me 200m breast me silver aur 2017 me 100m breast me silver ke saath medley relay gold bhi jeeta.
