Tai Ne 4th World Para-Swimming Gold Jeeta

Alice Tai ne Singapore mein World Para Swimming Championships ke dauraan 4 days mein apna 4th gold jeeta – jabki Great Britain ne apna mixed relay title defend kiya.

26 saal ki Tai ne iss saal ke Championships mein ab tak jitni bhi finals kheli hain, sab jeeti hain. Unhone women’s S8 100m backstroke, S8 400m freestyle aur S8 100m butterfly mein pahle hi gold jeeta tha, aur Wednesday ko S8 100m freestyle mein bhi first aayi.

Unhone Italy ki Xenia Palazzo aur USA ki Jessica Long ko pichhe chhodte huye 1 minute 05.49 seconds ke timing ke saath race jeeti.

“Is week ka thoda effect ab dikh raha hai. Main definitely thodi tired hoon, lekin abhi bhi teen din baaki hain,” Tai ne kaha, jo Thursday ko apne collection mein do aur golds add kar sakti hain.

Unhone further kaha, “Main uss timing se bahot khush hun, ye season’s best hai aur meri amputation [2022] ke baad ka fastest timing hai, toh main ise lekar bahot jada excited hun.’

Wahiin, William Ellard, Poppy Maskill, Dylan Broom aur Georgia Sheffield ne ak championship record banaya jab Great Britain ne mixed S14 4x100m freestyle 3:41.14 ke timing ke saath jeeta – jo unke khud ke 2021 ke world record se sirf ak second kam tha.

Great Britain ne is event ko 2019 mein introduce hone ke baad se world aur Paralympic level dono par jeeta hai.

“Goal yeh hai ki ise LA [2028 Paralympics] tak aur build kiya jaaye. Yahan hamare paas ak great team hai aur bahot ache log aa rahe hain, toh future ke liye kaafi promising ho sakta hai,” Ellard ne kaha.

Ellie Challis ne bhi gold jeeta, jab unhone apna women’s S3 50m backstroke title retain kiya, timing 53.92 seconds rahi.

Wahiin, Astrid Carroll ne China ki Jietong Zheng ko sirf 0.03 seconds se piche chhodte hue women’s SB12 100m breaststroke mein silver jeeta.
