The Foundation distributed more than $300,000 to local Make a Splash Local Partners, covering 23 states, with 15 programs (30 percent) earning USA Swimming Foundation funds for the first time.
“With these additions, the USA Swimming Foundation is proud to have awarded more than $3.3 million in grant funding since 2007,” said USA Swimming Foundation Executive Director Debbie Hesse.

USA Swimming Foundation’s ‘Make a Splash’ to Host Event during ISHOF Weekend, Headlined by Lezak & Evans
Olympic gold medalist Janet Evans, Jason Lezak & Olympian Alia Atkinson will give free swim lessons during the water safety session.
The national tour will feature appearances by newly appointed USA Swimming Foundation Ambassadors: three-time Olympic Gold Medalist Nathan Adrian, Olympic Gold Medalist Anthony Ervin (featured image), and returning this year are four-time Olympic Gold Medalist Janet Evans and swimming legend Rowdy Gaines.
“The USA Swimming Foundation is pleased to welcome the Boy Scouts of America to our Affiliate Coalition to help promote the Make a Splash initiative,” said USA Swimming Foundation Executive Director Debbie Hesse.
