Tan dropped two seconds off her lifetime best and broke Jacoby’s record that stood at a 2:06.81 since 2022. Tan is only 15 years old.

Brito is only 15 years old and has over a year to keep moving up in the age group rankings. She came into today as the #13 performer in the age group.
Kayla Han, winner of the 500 free, will look to hold on to her top seed and defend her title in the 1650 free tonight.
