2023 World Aquatics Championships (Fukuoka, Japan)

  • Wang was solid in the 100 fly with a 57.72 in prelims. She was just off in a 57.74 to miss the finals in the semis. As China’s #2 female 100 fly swimmer, Wang was put on the mixed 400 medley prelims and split a solid 57.46. She was replaced by Zhang Yufei and the finals team won the event. She took on the same role on the 400 Medley relay, splitting a swift 57.17 on the prelims relay.
