Lewis Clareburt is a competitive swimmer who represents New Zealand competitively. He has bronze medals in the 400 IM from both the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2019 World Championships.
2018 Commonwealth Games (Gold Coast, Australia)
Clareburt earned a bronze medal in the 400 IM at the Commonwealth Games with a national record time of 4:14.42. He finished third behind Australia’s Clyde Lewis and Scotland’s Mark Szaranek.
2019 World Championships (Gwangju, South Korea)
Clareburt finished third in the 400 IM in a New Zealand national record time of 4:12.07, rounding out the podium behind Japan’s Daiya Seto (4:08.95) and USA’s Jay Litherland (4:02.22).
