John is in sophomore year as the Aquamules’ top diver on both boards. He is studying Psychology and minoring the art of responsibly balancing Netflix watching with school work. On campus, he is a member of Mules Against Violence.
In his rookie year, John was immediately the team’s top scorer in diving events. He had an excellent dual meet season but had an abbreviated run due to injury.
John returned to boards ready and eager as a sophomore. He again led the way in diving at dual meets, scoring a number of wins for the Mules. He posted lifetime best scores with a 229 on six dives off the 1-meter and 222 on six dives off the 3-meter. At NESCAC Championships, he finished top-10 and scored in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events.
John loves long naps on the beach, chicken cutlets, and his two dogs. It could be argued that sleeping is his favorite pastime and he has a particular skill for it. In his two years with the team, he has shown a great deal of growing maturity; a point that greatly impresses his coaches.
