Tennessee junior Camille Spink was on fire last weekend during the Vols’ home-opening double dual meet against Auburn and Louisville, nearing career-best form early in the season.
Spink, 21, unleashed a time of 46.54 in the 100 free, launching her up to #2 in the NCAA this season in what was the second-fastest time of her career. It was also faster than she went en route to placing 3rd last season in the NCAA Championship final (46.68).
Spink’s personal best time stands at 46.25, set at the 2025 SEC Championships, where she won the conference title for the second straight year.
During her swim on Thursday, Spink was nearly half a second slower than her PB pace on the first 50, but came home quicker, splitting a blazing 24.19.
