Women Swimmer Jo Vizag Se Kakinada Tak Tairi

Andhra Pradesh ke Kakinada district ke Samalkot ki native 52 years ki experienced woman swimmer ne Vizag se Kakinada tak Bay of Bengal me 150km ki distance cover ki.

Goli Syamala ne depression se bahar aane ke liye summer camps me swimming karna start kiya. Unhone apna animation studio band kar diya tha, jisme unhone 10 saal tak producer, creative director and writer ke roop me multiple roles perform kiye the.

Baad me unhone logon ke beech open water me swimming ke liye awareness create karne ka decision liya.

Isse pahle unhone Palk Strait ko 13 hours and 43 minutes me cross kiya tha aur aisa karne wali second women bani thi. Unhone Catalina Island se Los Angeles tak Catalina channel ko 12°C temperature me 19 hours me 36km tak taira tha.

Jab Prime Minister Narendra Modi ne Lakshadweep me tourism ke development ki baat ki, toh unhone Kilton Island se Kadmath Island tak 48km ki distance ko 18 hours me cover kiya, aisa karne wali wo first woman thi. Unhone Krishna river me 1.5 km, Hugli river me 14km, Ganga me 13km and Bhagiratha ke 81km ki distance ko tairkar cover kiya tha.

Syamala ko laga ki other states ki comparison me Andhra Pradesh me open swimming and water sports ko badhawa dene me pichhe ho raha hai. Unhone Vizag se Kakinada tak ki 150km ki long distance cover ki. Unhone do badi boats aur ak chhoti boat ke saath observers, doctor, physiotherapist, feeder, scuba drivers and kayaker ki 12-member team banai aur 28 December ko Vizag ke R.K. beach se tairna start kiya aur har din 30km tairkar January me Kakinada ke NTR beach par pahoc gayi.

Unhone inn 5 days me sirf liquid food hi liya aur land ko kabhi touch nahi kiya. Vizag se Kakinada tak swimming ke apne experience ko share karte huye Syamala ne kaha, ki ak bada kachhua (turtle) kai km tak unke saath tairta raha aur jab wo unki ungliyon ko touch karta tha toh wo romanchit ho jaati thi. Ak moment aisa bhi aaya jab wo ak badi whale ke kaafi paas aa gayi, wo bahot dar gayi thi. Jab wo whale ke paas aai toh worried crew members ne unhe boat ke kheench liya. Vizag aur Kakinada ke beach par unhone bahot se bade turtles ki carcasses dekhi toh wo bahot dukhi ho gayi. Unhone environment conservation ke liye sea me pollution ko control karne ke liye kadam uthane ko advocate kiya.
