Father-Daughter Ki Jodi Ne Ocean Ko Plastic Free Banane Ke Liye Kiya Scuba Dive

Is father-daughter duo Aravind Tharunsri aur Thaaragai Aarathana ke liye, har din hi Environment Day hai aur har hour hi Earth hour hai. Aur wo is hamare oceans ko clean karne ke mission se nikle hai. Karappakam, Chennai se scuba diver ki beti bhi apne father ke foot steps ko tender age se hi follow kar rhi hai.

Kab aur kaise hui iski shuruwat?

Thaaragai ko kbhi bhi water se darr laga hi nhi q ki unhe ocean water se tab hi exposed kar diya gaya tha jab wo sirf 3 days old hi thi. Jab wo 1 saal ke under hi thi tab se hi unhone conveniently floating karna start kar diya tha.

Aravind khud bhi ek passionate scuba diver rahe hai, isliye wo chahte the ki unki daughter bhi diving sikhe. Unka vision bhi true ho gaya jab unki beti ne shallow water mei scuba dive karna sikh liya.

Unhone initially small tubs mei training karna start kiya, phr swimming pools mei aur eventually ocean mei smooth transition bnaya.

“Maine apne papa se ocean ke endearing species ke bare mei aur marine life ko preserve krne ke bare mei bahot suna tha. Unhone ye bhi bataya tha ki kitni sari plastics aur nets dumped kr diye jate hai jiski wajah se water pollution hota hai aur isse marine lives bhi affect hoti hai,” Thaaragai ne kaha.

“Mai pichle 20 saal se scuba diving mei hun aur chahta tha ki meri beti bhi ocean aur marine life ke early exposure mei aa sake. Mujhe lgta hai ki childrens ke liye bahot young age mei swimming sikhn important rahta hai,” Aravind ne kaha jo ki ek scuba diving centre chalate hai Chennai aur Puducherry mei.

Is Mission mei unhone ab tak kya achieve kiya:-

Thaaragai ne apna bday apni maiden scuba diving adventure mei celebrate kiya. Inhone aur inke father ne regular basis par ocean ko clean krne ka decide kiya iske sath hi beaches ko bhi. Aur unhone marine pollution ke bare mei awareness bhi raise ki.

Aravind ke kaha ki unhone aur unki beti ne ab tak 600kg plastic bottle collect kar liya hai jo ki ye plastic scarp shops par sell kar denge jo ki baad mei recycle kr skte hai. Thaaragi ki wish h ki in bottles se milne wale money ko wo Tmilndu ke Department of Environment ko donate krna chahti hai.
