Kelsey Katt, a member of New Jersey’s Berkeley Aquatic Club, verbally committed to swim at The College of William & Mary. Katt is a distance freestyler.

Katt has Futures cuts in the 500 and 1000 freestyle. Recently, she swam at the NI LC Senior Zone Championships, where she also earned Futures cuts in the 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter freestyle. She placed 10th in the 50-meter freestyle and seventh in the 100-meter freestyle. Katt also finished fourth in the 400-meter individual medley.
Her best short course times are:
- 100 freestyle: 53.11
- 200 freestyle: 1:53.71
- 500 freestyle: 5:03.18
- 1000 freestyle: 10:16.60
- 1650 freestyle: 17:01.53
William & Mary is a Division I school in the Colonial Athletic Association. The women’s team took second place at the conference championships in 2021. At that meet, Katt would have made B final in the 500 freestyle and A final in the 1650 freestyle.
According to the 2020-21 William & Mary roster, Katt would have the team’s fourth-fastest time in the 1000 freestyle and second-fastest time in the 1650 freestyle. She’ll likely have a senior training partner in Elizabeth Intihar, who also specializes in distance freestyle and owned multiple of the top times on the team last season.
