Jose Finkel Trophy ke dusre din hi eight additional swimmers ki notch performance dekhne mili, performance itni sahi thi ki is year ke Brazilian Swimming Federation (CBDA) ke mandated time standards ko surpass kar gai aur iske saath hi un swimmers ne is year ke World Short Course Championships mei jagah bhi banai.
Unme se hi ek Caio Pumputis bhi the, jo ki already men’s 100m mei qualify kar chuke hai. Dusre din hi, in 22 year old ne 1:53.02 ki timing ke saath men’s 200 IM jeeta. Unki is performance ne already clear kiya 1:55.25 jo ki Abu Dhabi ke liye jaruri tha aur man’s lifetime best ke liye bhi approach kiya tha 1:55.26 ki timing ke saath isi same meet mei 2018 mei.
Women’s 200 IM mei 3 swimmers ne qualifying time ke under perform kar Worlds ke liye qualify kiya.
