Quintin McCarty Loves Sprinting But is “Moving more towards 100 back, eventually”

Winning the 50 back in 24.4 against a loaded heat, including Olympic champ Ryan Murphy, that time puts him as #9 worldwide and the top American. He’s also the top-ranked American in the 50 free courtesy of a PB 21.43 he clocked at the Mare Nostrum tour in May (T-#3 in the world), which he discusses here.

He also touches on focusing more on the 100 back, which could not only give him another individual spot on international teams, but also put him in the conversation for Team USA medley relays.
