In our GMX7 Weekly Wonders of Age Group Swimming series, we celebrate swimmers of every age and experience level with age group profiles of recent results.
Our latest Weekly Wonders swimmers include Manita Sathianchokwisan, who set a new Bolles School record in the girls’ 50 freestyle in 22.63.
Andrew Coombs of KING Aquatic club stood out in the mixed, open-age group events. His 100 butterfly now ranks him 58th in the nation.
Lyndsey Wehr, who will join the University of Minnesota swim team this fall, won the 50 free on the final day of the Sectionals meet at St. George.
Brynn Sproul and Austin Lane won the 200 back while Camden Doane finished with a top-20 time for 15-year olds this year in the 100 fly.
Madison Mintenko of Pikes Peak Aquatics won the 200 free with a time of 1:47.51, ranking herself #33 out of the all-time fastest 13-14 year-olds in the event.
