Kyle is a freshman at Colby and arrives after leading the Northern Valley Regional swim team to their best record in program history at 8-2 in his senior year. He has made an immediate impact in the Breaststroke and I.M. events and will be the foundation for the future of the Mules.
Kyle won his first collegiate event in his debut dual meet taking the 200 Breaststroke against Amherst. He is a key part, along John Devine and Hugh Jacobson, of a freshman triumvirate who have taken 1-2-3 in multiple dual meets in the 100 Breast ensuring Colby’s best dual meet record in six seasons. At NESCAC Championships, he made finals in the 400 IM and had career best times in all of his individual races.
Kyle is a passionate swim fan and recently explained that he reads swimswam.com everyday. When he is not dreaming of, thinking about, or actually swimming, he is very active in the Colby Community and serves as a Colby Admissions Ambassador and Class of 2018 Representative for the Student Government Association.
