David Aubry

David Aubry is a competitive swimmer who represents France internationally.

2018 European Championships (Glasgow, Scotland)

Aubry was part of France’s bronze medal team open water event alongside Lara Grangeon, Lisa Pou and Marc-Antoine Olivier. He also placed 12th individually in the 10 km (1:49.52) and 15th in the 25 km (5:06.03.1).

2019 World Championships (Gwangju, Korea)

Aubry earned the bronze medal in the 800 free, in a French national record time of 7:42.08. He finished third behind Italy’s Gregorio Paltrinieri’s European record 7:39.27 and Norway’s Henrik Christiansen’s national record 7:41.28.

Aubry finished fourth in the 1500 free, clocking a 14:44.72 behind Germany’s Florian Wellbrock (14:36.54), Ukraine’s Mykhailo Romanchuk (14:37.63) and Paltrinieri (14:38.75).

Aubry was also 10th in the open water 10 km event, finishing in 1:48.05.1.
