GBR’s Fran Halsall Has Bad Aquatic Barbie Memories

Although the 2016 Olympic Games are just 9 days away, there’s still time for fans to find out all they can about their favorite swimmers set to compete in Rio. From stats in the pool to revealing facts out of the water, athletes are opening up on various forms of social media to give a glimpse into their personalities.

Great Britain’s Fran Halsall has been on the international racing scene since her debut in 2006 and has since collected a remarkable 34 medals along the way. Halsall is her nation’s record holder in the 50m and 100m freestyle events, as well as in the 50m butterfly. Last year at the World Championships in Kazan, Halsall scored lanes in two finals, finishing 6th in the 50m fly and 7th in the 50m free.

In this fun video, Halsall reveals her favorite animal, her least favorite food, as well as the first album she ever bought, much to the 26-year-old’s chagrin.

Watch Halsall take on the competition in the women’s 50m freestyle, an event in which she is currently ranked 4th in the world.
