Carolina Aquatics, in Columbia South Carolina, is hiring!
In order to keep up with the growth and demand to join our team, Carolina Aquatics, out of Columbia/Lexington, SC is seeking a part-time Assistant Age Group Coach with competitive swimming knowledge. Primary responsibility will be working with swimmers ages 6 – 14. This is a part-time position with hours primarily Monday – Friday evenings and occasional Saturday mornings. Carolina Aquatics currently pays $10 per hour which moves to $12 per hour when fully certified. Growth opportunities are available, as well as, private lesson referrals. Hours are unlimited up to 40 per week if scheduled.
We are seeking a coach who is willing to learn and think outside of the box with us, has a consistent work schedule and wants to grow with us. We are looking for a coach who will show up to practice eager to help our swimmers and staff, has a developed sense of humor and the ability to work with swimmers’ from different cultural backgrounds, as well as, ability levels.
USA Swimming coaching certification required; must have completed all certifications (and must be currently up-to-date) prior to employment.
