Patrick is perhaps best known for his 111-mile swim down the Sacramento River or for his double crossing of Lake Tahoe. His sights are now set on Lake Michigan, where he will swim over 70 miles from Milwuakee along the historic skyline to Chicago.

Masters national record-holder Christopher Clarke dies during open water event
