USA Swimming has sent out a ‘Call for Nominations’ for individuals interested in applying to join its Board of Directors later this year.
The USA Swimming House of Delegates will elect two individuals as At-Large members of the organization’s Board in September 2022 at its Annual Business Meeting in Colorado Springs. Additionally, one 10-Year Athlete member will be directly elected by all current 10-Year Athletes to serve as a Board Athlete Representative.
USA Swimming’s Nominating Committee will select and place a minimum of two, but not more than three, nominees for each seat.
The Board consists of 15 voting members, including five 10-Year Athlete representatives and seven At-Large members as selected by the House of Delegates. The At-Large members include a minimum of three coaches, two Independent directors, and one director residing in each of USA Swimming’s four geographic zones.
USA Swimming encourages interested candidates to thoroughly review the Call for Nominations document and the Application Form before applying.
Those interested must submit an application no later than 5:00 pm Mountain time on May 15, 2022.
