Lauren Swartz, a current high school senior from West Chicago, Illinois, has committed to swim for Division I University of Wyoming. Swartz will graduate from St. Charles East High School in spring 2021 join the Cowgirls’ class of 2025.
Swartz is a current swimmer for St. Charles Swim Team along with swimming for her high school. At the 2020 IHSA Girls Sectional – St. Charles, Swartz placed 2nd in the 50 freestyle (23.48) and 3rd in both the 100 breaststroke (1:05.80) and 100 butterfly (57.96). She is also a Futures qualifier.

At the 2020 Mountain West Championships with the Cowgirls, Swartz would have placed 15th in the 50 freestyle (23.48) with her current best time in that event.
At the MW Championships, the Cowgirls placed 3rd as a team under head coach Dave Dennison. The team was also given CSCAA Scholar All-American honors.
