Smith, Grover turn in fast times at prelims of Georgia 6A high school state

Prelims of the 6A (big schools) high school state championships in Georgia have been less eventful than the 1A-5A event, which took place Friday morning. But nonetheless, there have been a few notable swims and some definite drama setting up for the finals tomorrow night.

Charlotte Catholic, Hough Girls Put on a Show With 9 Record-Breaking Swims at NC State Championship Meet

The lone win in the North Carolina women’s 4A State Championship meet that didn’t go to Charlotte Catholic or W.A. Hough was a swim by Green Hope senior Hannah Moore, who broke the State Record of a current National Team swimmer by over 5 seconds.
