‘Why we love Virginia Swimming’ – a message from Virginia’s Class of 2019

In light of a few recent allegations and related negative press regarding the University of Virginia men’s swim team, we, the incoming men’s Class of 2019, want to share our perspective.

Hungarian Nationals: Gyurta Swims Easy 2:10 In 200 Breast Semifinal

Gyurta posted the fastest time in the semifinal of the men’s 200 breaststroke by four seconds, swimming to a time of 2:10.74. That time is still two seconds off of his season best of 2:08.58 from the Bergen Swim Festival.

Sjostrom Breaks Two Meet Records on Day 1 of Swedish Championships

The 2015 Swedish Championships started today in Sundsvall. The meet kicked off with the men’s 200 fly, 100 free, 200 breast, and 1500 free as well as the women’s 200 free, 50 back, and 200 breast.
