When Swimming is Accidentally Art (VIDEO)

  2 Braden Keith | October 02nd, 2015

The Swedish club team Sk Neptun is currently embarked upon a training trip with a handful of its swimmers at a high altitude training camp in St. Moritz, Switzerland. To analyze the swimmers during a kick session, coach Nils Zätterström used a GoPro to film them underwater. He expected to get interesting shots for analysis, but what turned out was even better than that.

“Once back at the hotel I realised how great the light was during the session,” Zätterström said. “I edited this little film which I hope this can inspire other swimmers in their strive to improve streamline and efficiency under water.”

Swimmers represented during the camp and in this short film where: Alexander Nyström, Jessica Eriksson, Jakob Thulin, Linus Magnusson, Filip Weidlitz, and Pontus Flodqvist from Swim Club Sk Neptun Stockholm, Sweden. Also in attendance is the legendary Therese Alshammar representing Täby Sim Stockholm, Sweden.
