2018 TYR JUNIOR NATIONAL CUP

The TYR Junior National Cup, being held at Liberty University in Virginia this week, will be delayed on Wednesday due to snow.
The meet will begin at 10 am rather than the originally scheduled 8:30 for this morning’s preliminaries, with it expected to wrap up around 1 pm. No relays will be contested this morning.
The schedule for finals tonight will be as follows:
- 4:30 pm: Warm-up
- 5:45 pm: Tuesday awards
- 6:00 pm: Finals starts
- 16 & under relays will go first at finals, with a five minute break coming after those relays
- The session is expected to be wrapped up around 8:30 pm.
This is the latest in a string of late season storms that have hit the east coast. Snow showers are expected to continue in Lynchburg until about 1 pm today, with it expected to rain throughout the rest of the day. Snow is expected to subside through the weekend with sunny forecasts on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, and some rain on Saturday. Temperatures as a whole are expected to rise beginning tomorrow.
