Check above as Matt Rees talks to Andrew Seliskar at the 2013 AAA Virginia State Championship Meet after he broke the State Record in the 200 IM, as just a sophomore, in 1:46.09; and then won the 100 fly in 47.92. The race video of the 100 fly is below.

Thank you for the video. I understand now the decent but not great times of Andrew Seliskar and Janet Hu. I thought they could break some records. But they weren’t tapered for this meet! If I have well understood, their big taper meet will be the NCSA junior nationals in March. We have to wait.

I thought he would have swum the 100 breast instead of the 100 fly. He’s so close to the high school record in this race.
