Sarasota Sharks End Practice with “The Duck Set”

At the end of a Monday afternoon workout, the Sarasota Sharks concluded things with 5×200 backstroke, aka “The Duck Set”. The set included a variety of equipment along with it, meant to be a kind of descend into good, technically sound backstroke. It was the first time Coach Brent had done this particular progression before and the group had mixed feelings.

I showed this to my 8-year old swimmer and she really wants to try this at practice soon. But maybe 5x50s!
